V—III Labs is a small family studio — husband and wife, fifty-fifty partners, both first-time business owners. The "V—III" is Roman numerals: five and three, the ages of our two daughters and the reason any of this exists.
The Labs is where the work happens.
3D-printed children's toys and educational products. Custom and small-batch printed goods. Eventually, a wider range of work as the studio grows. Everything is made in-house, in small batches, by hand.
Our older daughter is five. Our younger daughter is three. Both are official product testers, with full veto power.
If a toy can survive them, it ships.
If they love it, other kids will too.
We are deliberately small right now. We are learning the machines before we sell anything. We are documenting everything. We are insuring properly before a single product leaves the studio.
We are building this the right way, one milestone at a time, because we plan to be doing this for a long time.
